Our Philosophy

We absolutely love baking and decorating using only the best ingredients. The Cinnamon Tree is a home operated business. We never use mixes, preservatives, gel, high-fructose corn syrups or trans-fats such as margarine in the actual cake, making it an absolutely safe option for your loved ones looking for a cake or cupcakes! All of our icing and cake ingredients are sourced from the home kitchen as this allows us to use the best and serve what we eat. 


Ranjeeta personally makes everything from scratch using only the fresh and finest ingredients to meet your expectations. You can be assured of its freshness and quality. And yes, all our cakes and cupcakes are made to order so that we can serve them fresh to you, there is no need to add preservative or chemical to increase its shelf life or give an artificially fresh look. 


The largest components of the cake, such as the flour, milk, eggs, and sugar are sourced from home kitchen. We strive to use other high quality ingredients such as vanilla extract instead of essence. Couverture or Belgian Chocolate instead of chocolate compound etc. 

Though we may use minimal decorative components such as sprinkles, fondant, gum paste, royal icing, and color in the frosting, they are sourced from market and may include artificial ingredients.

Ranjeeta Kumar is a baker/cake decorator who is the influence behind ‘The Cinnamon Tree’. A trained HR person, who took her passion of baking as hobby to now her profession. 

She improved her baking skills under the guidance of some of the finest artists from the baking industry in Bangalore.
